OK TO BOARD’ is a verification process, which deems that the passenger flying to Oman is travelling on a valid visa, which is deposited at the airport.

If the flight ticket does not indicate an ‘OK to Board’ the airlines can deny the passenger an entry to board the flight. This is an airline check-in procedure and not an Dubai immigration requirement. Passengers are advised to check on the update of the status at least 48 hours ahead of departure.

In case the visa has been obtained from an agency / service provider in India, kindly provide PNR, Name, Date of Travel, Sector and other relevant details to your visa issuing agency and ask them to contact the airline for insertion of otb message.

For the insertion of the ‘OK to Board’ message, a passenger needs to produce the print or digital version of their e-visa in one of the reservations office in India or the countries listed above. Passengers can initiate the process by depositing INR 1000.

Following the successful verification of the visa document, the visa on arrival message plus the PNR, and the passport number and validity will be entered in the PNR record of passengers. It is compulsory to ensure the entry of these details for boarding a flight.
