All passengers travelling to UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sultanate of Oman and Qatar are requested to have their VISA on ARRIVAL message (OK to board) updated from an Air India office unless the original Visa is stamped in their passport.

On verification of the visa, the following details will be added in the Reservation PNR – Passport Number and validity, Visa Number and validity, Type of Visa and “OK to board” remark. The airline would not be responsible, if the same is not reflecting in the PNR and passengers may be denied boarding.

In case the visa has been obtained from an agency / service provider in India, kindly provide PNR, Name, Date of Travel, Sector and other relevant details to your visa issuing agency and ask them to contact the airline for insertion of OK to Board message.

The ‘OK to Board’ message is compulsory for passengers who arrive at any one of the Gulf countries without original visa stamp on their passport. This is applicable to countries like UAE, Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Passengers who wish to travel to any one of these countries by Air India are requested to update their visa on arrival message from one of its offices.

The message is compulsory in the booking for passengers who have a faxed copy or photocopy of their e-visa. They need to produce either the hard copy or soft copy of their e-visa in the reservations office either in India or in one of the aforementioned countries.
